Building High-Performance Teams
Give your in-house team clear roles, shared norms, and measurable results
Why It Matters
Many teams are made of capable individuals who still miss deadlines, duplicate effort, or avoid hard conversations. Usually the issue is not talent. It is unclear roles, unspoken norms, and no shared picture of what success looks like. Leaders and team members both feel the drag. Teams that deliberately define how they work together make faster decisions, recover from mistakes sooner, and produce results the organization can see and count on.
Course Description
Designed for intact teams that work mostly in person, ideally attending together, the course begins with a candid diagnostic discussion: where are we strong, where do handoffs break, and what do we avoid talking about? From there, teams work through four building blocks. Roles and decision rights: who owns what and who decides. Norms: how we meet, communicate, and disagree. Trust: the behaviors that build reliability and candor. Measures: a small set of indicators the team will track. Each block includes a short team exercise and a working draft the team keeps. Leaders practice facilitating these conversations rather than dictating answers. Teams leave with a working agreement, a simple scorecard, and a date to review both together.
