In-Person Sales
Win face-to-face meetings with genuine rapport and sharp discovery
Why It Matters
Meeting a buyer in person creates an opportunity that email and video rarely match, but only if the seller uses it well. Nervous sellers talk too much, pitch before they understand the problem, or leave without a clear next step. In-person skills help sellers make every meeting count. Organizations benefit from stronger relationships, larger deals, and fewer meetings that end with a polite promise to think about it and then silence.
Course Description
Participants rehearse each part of a face-to-face sales meeting. They start with first impressions, small talk that builds real rapport, and reading body language across the table. Discovery practice uses paired role plays where one partner plays a buyer with hidden priorities, and the seller must uncover them through questions. Participants then present a tailored recommendation, connecting features to what the buyer said, and practice asking for a decision or next step. Discussion covers retail floors, client offices, community settings, and site visits. Feedback from peers and the facilitator targets talk-to-listen balance and confidence. Each participant identifies one upcoming meeting, plans how to apply the meeting structure, and schedules a debrief afterward.
