Overcoming Sales Objections
Answer price, timing, and trust objections without getting defensive
Why It Matters
Hearing that a product is too expensive, or that a buyer needs to think it over, stops many sellers cold. Some discount too fast, others argue, and many simply accept the stall and never follow up. Each response leaves money on the table and erodes the buyer's confidence. Sellers who handle objections well stay calm, ask better questions, and help buyers decide. Organizations protect margins, shorten sales cycles, and close more of the opportunities they already have.
Course Description
Participants begin by listing the objections they hear most and sorting them into price, timing, trust, need, and authority. For each group, they practice a response pattern: pause, acknowledge, clarify the real concern, respond with relevant evidence, and confirm. Rapid-fire drills build fluency, while longer role plays layer objections the way real buyers do. Participants learn to tell a genuine objection from a brush-off and to prevent common objections earlier through better discovery. Discussion covers when to offer concessions, when to hold firm, and when to walk away. Each participant builds a personal objection playbook for their product or service and plans to test responses in upcoming conversations, then review results.
