Personal Productivity
Build a personal system that turns scattered tasks into finished work
Why It Matters
Busy professionals often have to-do items spread across email, chat, meeting notes, and their own heads. Things fall through the cracks, and mental energy goes to remembering instead of doing. Calendar advice helps with scheduling, but without a reliable system for tasks and follow-ups, people stay reactive. A personal productivity system reduces dropped commitments and background stress. For organizations, it means more dependable follow-through and fewer surprises.
Course Description
The focus is the system behind the work. Participants map everything currently competing for their attention, then build a simple workflow: capture every commitment in one place, clarify the next action, organize by context or project, and review weekly. They test a few organizing approaches and choose what fits their role rather than adopting someone else's method wholesale. A hands-on segment covers batching similar tasks like email, calls, and approvals, and setting up tools they already have, such as task lists, calendar, and email folders, to support the system. Pairs share setups and troubleshoot each other's gaps. The course closes with a guided first weekly review that participants can repeat on their own, plus a short checklist for keeping the system current.
